LOCATION & HOW TO FIND
In the center of Germany, between Frankfurt am Main (150 km), Erfurt (155 km) and Bamberg (85 km), lies one of the most famous and historic health resorts in Germany, the district town of Bad Kissingen. Due to its proximity to the Rhön Biosphere Reserve, the city itself is surrounded by a beautiful hilly landscape and an above-average density of vegetation with many forest and hiking trails, which invite you to relax and recuperate.

Healing well
Functionally, seven healing springs belong to the spa town today, all of which are located in the Saale Valley. The first three mentioned below are the classic springs at the Kurgarten. The next two are located further north, in Hausen, which was incorporated in 1972. Finally, Luitpolsprudel "old" and "new" are located in the very north, directly at the present city limits.

The casino of Bad Kissingen is located in the building wing of the former largest bathhouse in Europe, the Luitpoldbad.
Already in the early 19th century, the roulette table rotated here in a breathtaking setting. In addition to blackjack, poker and a separate slot machine room, you can still challenge your luck here today.
In the same building, right next door, is the newly designed restaurant with extravagant and varied cuisine.

Bathing fun for big and small on 48,000 m². In the recently partially renovated and listed outdoor pool, it is great to enjoy the sun on the generously landscaped green areas.

Golfing in the middle of a huge park. With over 100 years of history, the Bad Kissingen Golf Club not only combines old with new, it also offers a terrific sports experience in the middle of nature.
The 18-hole golf course is traversed by the river Saale and offers those interested the feeling of playing in the middle of a large park landscape. With the project Course 2020, the club recently realized a new tee, fairway as well as a new bunker design.

Klaushof park
In the middle of the natural environment live on 30 hectares, in the municipal zoo Klaushof, native wild animal species as well as domestic animal breeds. Besides the feeding times as attractions, there is in the deciduous mixed forest lying game park, for the visitors also the possibility to meet free-running deer, donkeys as well as goats.

Glider airfield
With the Bad Kissingen glider airfield, in addition to the possibility of arriving with your own small aircraft - up to 3,000 kg - there is also the opportunity to experience the surroundings from above during a sightseeing flight.
